How is a Garment created?

Stage 1 -Establishing Your Needs. We meet with you and have a detailed discussion about your requirements and take the necessary measurements. The outcome of this meeting(s) will be documented so that you can formally agree the first phase of construction (the production of a mock up – a Toile).

Stage 2 - The Toile. It normally takes up to 14 days to produce the toile and an appointment will be arranged for a fitting and fine tuning of this mock up garment. We will once again document any additional requirements/amendments and provide you with a firm final cost that will take into account the cost of your chosen material and fitments for the garment. Once you have agreed this then the materials etc will be purchased and the final garment will be created for you.

Stage 3 - Garment Construction. This stage of the process normally takes up to 25 days. A fitting appointment will be arranged and the finished garment will be presented for fitting and to check if any minor adjustments are needed.

Special Considerations

Each garment made by Tularose is handmade and unique. I will keep you informed of any stage of the process that will need a decision from you. In return I ask that you keep me informed if your requirements change as changes needed after the toile stage can be costly or impossible to incorporate.

Please Note: If distance is a problem telephone meetings can be arranged.
